Vik-torian idea for Nova Albion Steampunk Exposition - R

This year the theme is "Vikings, Villains, and Celts, Oh, My!". I'm having a hard time reconciling Steampunk and this theme, but here is what I've come up with so far. The top pics are my inspiration for the Viking elements.  Here's what I've sketched so far:

The actual sketch is not as squatty as this came out, but you get the idea.
